PPC, or popularly known as Pay Per Click, is another form of many many types of advertising strategies out there. As the name suggests, advertisers pay publishers the amount of clicked ads displayed on the publishers site.
The advertiser bid on keywords that they think would be of major relevance and revenue on the publishers site. The form of advertising would display “sponsored links” on the publishers website, with relevance to the content, and the publishers would be paid accordingly to the amount of clicked ads refered from their websites. Generally, the rate can be as low as $0.01 per click to $0.50, but the range is to vast to state. It all depends on the advertisers.
