Fath’s awesome comic books

by affy on May 7, 2007

Guess what I found in Maths class this afternoon?
Talent!

Just look at these. Every single inch neatly drawn by hand! All this, beautifully enclosed in plastic, away from the harsh world, bound together to form mini comic books which are then divided into volumes. Each volume has a unique and artistically drawn front and back cover.

The first few pages of Volume 1.

My good friend and my savior of Maths Class, Aina, gladly modeling the comic book

According to the author of the comic, Fath, he has more of these at home, enough ‘volumes’ to make an entire season. Fath is still constantly updating the series. All the characters and storyline done by him.

To show you how great this work of art is: I was totally engrossed by the quality of the work, I didn’t even get the chance to get the title of the comic. And for a book (or comic), without colors, that’s amazing.

Too bad it’s written in Malay. He’s taking Malay Literature, so that’s understandable (the love for the Malay Language).

All he needs is to find a publisher, get them published and sent to all bookstores in Brunei for the entire nation to admire. Now, who knows how to do that?

@r&al: 18 this year, I think.

@tiera: I don’t really know. Everyone who has seen his work wants it to get published. He isn’t against that idea.
