What is Friendster.com?

Earlier today, my mom asked me what is Friendster.
(Brunei equivalent of Myspace)

In a heartbeat, I said, “Tempat most bini-bini my age be e-gatal.”
(where most girls my age go to become e-sluts)

She then gave me a confused look.

I definitely hit the nail on the head on that one.
But please, stress ‘most’. I didn’t say all. The ones on my list are fine though.

    I’m so glad I will never have to explain anything like that to my parents. Hehe. They don’t even know what a “blog” is, and I’d like to keep it that way :)

    I think that may be true for anywhere on the internet. The attention is definitely there (wherever) when the girls feel like putting something out there to “gain” it. .. if that makes any sense lol.

    I agree with you on that, the girls on my list are mostly my friends, so hehe, nada be e-gatal lah, but I’ve seen those e-gatal ones.

    Though, another thing, I have no idea why my ‘little’ cousins (though they are bigger than me despite their age still have that suffix -teen) bekarih make a fake age just to make Friendster’s age requirement and be a part of friendster.

    When I think of it now (and after being so addicted to Facebook), Friendster is not all that fun.

    Teens nowaday are unbelievebale, super gatal and pretentious trying to act all mature.

    Sometimes I wonder why they even bother. Facebook is much more fun. And have a certain level of privacy, but can still show what you want to show.

    Why am I on and on about Facebook, anyway? Haha.
