Audio Trickery: Virtual Haircut

Monday, June 2nd, 2008

I just got myself a haircut — a virtual haircut that is!
You can have one too. Just put on your headphones, close your eyes and click play. Well, uh, click play first then close your eyes.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I have 7 more papers to sit and study for. June 13th, I can’t wait!
Honestly, I’m more excited for June 9th.

KB Bloggers Night, my take

Monday, January 28th, 2008

I am probably the last one to update.

Arrived with Mr. Gorgeous, Archery Girl and Bashbash. Except for Archery Girl, both whom I officially met for the first time that night.

At the reception, I met DIY extraordinaire for the first time. And I believe her exact words were “Are you wearing powder?” AHAHAHH. I’m not even going to elaborate on that.

Also at the front door was Lois Lane in her tiger print dress, looking very busy (and important) as ever.

Met the man behind World Of Pablo shortly after. Thanks for the kind advice man!

Shared a table with Mr. & Mrs. Jurin, Mr. & Mrs. Gokil, Mr. Gorgeous, Bashbash and Archery girl.

Quiet Mr. & Mrs. Jurin disappeared halfway through the night. Word on the street is that they were abducted by aliens.

Mrs. Gokil almost had a wardrobe disaster. I am so sorry, I just had to pointed that out. HAAHHA

Also met/chatted with Iskandar, Maurina, Beyla, Alin (Kurapak), Cici, Bling-bling Sisters and many others too (forgive me if I forgot to mention).

Noone left empty handed, food was great, entertainment was awesome –It was a successful night. I didn’t even realize the appointed MC of the night didn’t turn up. Congratulations to Bin-Khalid of Arab Families and Liza of KBhappening. Also to Maurina, who hogged all the big/grand prizes that night.

KB Bloggers Night

I’ll be there tonight:

Free Photo Hosting - Photolava.com

To answer your pre-event questions:

  • No, I’m not a robot that needs to be plugged in every afternoon.
  • No, I am not a fictional character. I do exist.
  • No, I am not some kind of Government experiment trying to brainwash everyone through blogging.
  • Yes, I will only talk to people with a Twitter account, so don’t bother approaching if you don’t have one (AHHA, just kidding).

And uh, about 4 times a week.

See you there and please don’t hog the refreshment table.

This is my good friend, Fez, doing things he is not suppose to be doing. He has a Flickr full of my photos I wouldn’t want the world to see, so this is payback.

See you in July/Dec, bitch. AHAH

Dear Blog,

I have been neglecting you. Now that my social life has flown his not-so-fat ass back to Sydney and won’t be back for another 6-12 months, I will try to focus on you more. But that’s not a promise.

American Music Awards 2007

Sunday, November 25th, 2007

I spent a good portion of yesterday’s afternoon watching a re-run of the American Music Awards 2007 on Starworld. And spent the rest of the night crying because my sister beat me at Guitar Hero 3.

I missed Fergie’s and Nicoles Shadshjagersdfser’s performance, but word on the street is that Nicole’s left boob was about to pop out. Hmm…

Avril Lavigne. AMA 2007This is, uh, Avril Lavigne (or atleast I think it is) at the American Music Awards 2007. The shimmering skirt confuses me. Wait, ’skirt’ and ‘Avril’ in the same paragraph? Yes, shocking!

Watching Avril in a skirt is like watching your cat having diarrhea - you’re curious what it looks like, but then when you finally see it, you feel like stabbing yourself in the eye.

Painting a microphone pink is not the right way to go. Trust me.

Anyway, I am just glad she didn’t sing that ridiculously stupid and annoying ‘Girlfriend’ song.

Moving on, it was the Jonas Brothers big debut that night, and they decided to pull a Beyonce (what better way to get the tabloids talking). Boy in white didn’t fall flat to his face though, which is a bummer because I would love to see broken nose and lots of blood.

Next, I felt sorry for this girl. I said ‘girl’ because searching for ‘fat chick behind Vanessa XXX Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale’ in Wikipedia came up with no results. Shish, and they say Wikipedia has the answer to everything.

Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale

Awww, she looks so happy.

Overall, the AMAs 2007 was a disappoinment — Carrie Underwood kept winning, so did Daughtry. Justin Timberlake was too lazy to get his fat ass up and accept his awards (sent in a video instead). *yawn

Until next entry ladies and gentleman.. stop, look and go.

Concerts for climate in crisis

Saturday, July 7th, 2007

It’s live, now!

Live Earth is a monumental music event that will bring together more than 2 billion people on 7/7/07 to raise awareness about global warming. With 24 hours of music across 7 continents, and performances by more than 150 of the world’s top musicians, Live Earth will engage, connect, and inspire individuals, corporations and governments to take action to solve the climate crisis.

Go and watch it now, but before that, switch off that bathroom light. Yes, all of them.

Seriously, watch it. Or I’ll eat you.

St. John’s Sports Day ‘07

Sunday, April 8th, 2007

I ditched yesterday’s class (morning and afternoon) to attend the St. John’s Sports Day ‘07. I have all Sunday tomorrow to come up with an acceptable excuse for missing class — need to sleep on that first.

Congratulations to Green Hegemony for winning the championships. Captain Wawan and Captain Rara did a swell job in keeping the team spirits up. To Red Gorillas, Yellow Unicorns and Blue Sharks: good try. I was a Green member back in the day, so I came wearing a green shirt. Hehe.

zaff-hot
Here’s Zaff, Captain of the Yellow Unicorns. Though they didn’t win, she deserves a mention on my blog for looking extra extra hot on that day. They lost, but they lost looking good.

Here’s Captain Rara (if she seems familiar, she appeared on world-of-pablo numerous times) with her spanking new short hair. Final coaching words from team Captain Rara to the Green Hegemony Junior netball team.

If you came here for the cheer leading competition video, I’m sorry to say I have decided not to upload it for the world wide web to see. Someone with sticky fingers toggle the video quality setting on my camera to the lowest setting possible; the video is grainy. IM me (those who have my hotmail account) if you want to see despite the appalling quality, but only if you ask nicely. HAHA.
