You might have probably heard about Ahree Lee – the girl who took daily photos of herself consistently for the past three years. She compiled it into a montage, now with over 4 million views on youtube. A second in her video accounts for a week’s worth of images. That is quite amazing but wait till you hear this.

The concept is still the same but with 18 years of material… on Polaroid. James Livingston took a staggering 6,697 polaroids. He took a photo, every day, including his last.

The photographic diary dates back to his college days.

This was his last photo. You can see him lying on the hospital bed. He died the next day.

More on this here. An amazing story and a good read indeed!

Everytime I log into Friendster [Myspace], it makes me feel like kicking cute puppies or, better, punching some right the face.

I found a much much more better alternative – virb.com

What is Virb? A place that lets you put all of the things that make you you – photos, videos, blogs – in one place. So you can find friends (and friends can find you).

Virb is a social community – done right.

No stupid server messages and lame flashing profile backgrounds (some bad enough to blind you temporarily). And tons of tools to choose from.

Come and join Virb today. If you plan to use Virb as a popularity contest (multiple accounts, everyone is your friend, etc.), please please stay with friendshit.

Give me a FB and I’ll stop joining these things.

George Lindemann Jr is one rich son of a gun. He is an avid art collector and benefactor to museums. He is the heir to an enormous fortune.

I have been following House, M.D religiously this entire season. I am sad to say that season 2 has ended. The season finale episode was the best episode throughout the whole lot, no questions asked. I do feel it is a little bit too much drama crammed into one single episode. However, it is the last episode, it is understandable. A testicular explosion, swollen tongue, eyes popping, gunshots and hallucinations all packed into a 45-minute episode. I can’t wait for season 3 because there wasn’t a conclusion, the directors pretty much left us hanging. A typical way to end a season.

My short Grey’s Anatomy season 1 DVD marathon is also coming to an end. I’m down to the very last episode. I’m not going to hit the play button until I get season 2 on DVD soon. If you haven’t seen Grey’s Anatomy, you should get it. I highly recommend it.

I’m still waiting for One Tree Hill Season 4 on DVD. I have One Tree Hill Season 1, 2 & 3 on DVD so far, currently half way across the world with my brother. I’m yet to get what seems to be the final season of Lost. It’s about time, how much one can do trapped in an island?

I can’t wait for Heroes to start on Star World this coming 31st January. I’m counting down the days. I have it marked on my calender and on reminder, so there’s no chance in hell I’m missing that. According to the Indian guy I overheard at a friend’s Christmas Party, it’s a definite must-see. I’ve also heard rave reviews about it.

I still have my all CSIs to keep me busy, Ghost Hunters, the American Idol auditions and everyone’s favourite – the Simpsons.

And no, I no longer watch Smallville. I fell asleep numerous times watching season 2 on DVD. Yep, it’s that boring. Smallville is a definite ‘skip’ if you asked me.

Thanks, yet again to the wonderful and sexually active people at Discreet Romance (NSFW) for donating enough money just so I can re-new the domain.

I don’t blog about gadgets but this, I just have to.

If you haven’t been living under a rock lately (unless you’re Patrick Star from Spongebob Squarepants), you might’ve heard about the new iPhone from, who else, Apple. And, if you know Apple, their gadgets are stunningly designed. They are sexy and cool.

So, what sets iPhone far apart from the phones which are currently on the market?

It has real desktop applications running ontop of OS X (Safari, iTunes etc.)

It’s 11.6 millimeter thick. Incase you failed Maths class, that’s extremely thin

A 3.5-inch 480 x 320 touchscreen display. I’m not so sure about this though. I’m pretty sure I’ll break it in the first week

A proximity sensor to turn off the screen when it’s close to your face

A 2 megapixel built in camera (Not bad!)

4GB or 8GB of storage

Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi

And, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. I wished they came up with a better name though. I mean, come on, iPhone? Even iOrange sounds better. iSeed, maybe? I’m just kidding. Haha. Before you start having impure thoughts about Apple’s iPhone, just so you know, it will only be in Asia in 2008.

Oh, look, Emma’s Brunei Online 2006 is up!

Before anybody comes up with some whacked out theory – why my expression looks like I’ve seen Oprah Winfrey naked, I would like to explain myself. Haha. Imagine yourself plunging into a pool repeatedly until a good mid-air shot is taken. After the first plunge, I have water up my nose and in my ears. I was instructed to do the “bomb” on the second jump. I would do it properly but my main focus after my little incident was to stay alive. Other than that, I don’t want to leave the photoshoot with a sore ass from a water slap. Plus, I was wearing contact lenses. Long story, short: pluging into a pool, smiling and at the same time taking a deep breath isn’t easy. Really.

After the photoshoot, I left with a new found respect for models. They aren’t just carbon-based entities living on the planet with great skin and perfect teeth. They can talk, have feelings and aren’t just perfectly manicured clothes hanger. What they do for a living is hard. I think.

I would like to thank Emma and her brilliant mind for coming up with the swell idea. And for being a wonderfull hostess in her magnificent Bijou Bungalow. Thanks for lending the shorts too!

A special shoutout goes to Maurina for being the only one who seems familiar (thank God for online photos) and who pointed me in the right direction. Since I don’t know 99% of the people at the photoshoot, I would’ve been a lost puppy. Maurina, a life-saver, indeed.

House M.D is on! Gotta jet!
